Milford Advocacy for the Homeless is excited to share that we have updated our website landing page to make it easier for individuals and families in need to connect with support.

As our community needs continue to grow, we are always looking for ways to serve more people with dignity, compassion, and care. One way we are doing that is by improving access to our programs through online forms. These forms help neighbors request support, connect with resources, and share their needs in a way that is easier, faster, and more organized.

Our updated landing page now more clearly guides visitors to the right place. Whether someone needs food support, help requesting a bicycle, assistance with basic needs, or wants to connect with Milford Advocacy, the goal is to make the first step easier.

We are also adding online form links directly into our social media posts using website URLs and QR codes. This allows people to scan, click, and connect right from their phone. It also helps volunteers, partner organizations, and community members quickly share resources with someone who may need help.

This update is about access, but it is also about sustainability.

Milford Advocacy is a grassroots, all-volunteer organization. We do not have paid administrative staff managing every phone call, message, and request. By using online forms, spreadsheets, QR codes, and website links, we are creating a system that helps us reach more people without adding more administrative burden to our volunteers.

These tools allow us to better organize requests, track needs, follow up more efficiently, and connect people to the right program or resource. Most importantly, they help us continue meeting people where they are while keeping our work rooted in dignity and service.

Technology will never replace the human care behind Milford Advocacy. It simply helps us walk alongside more neighbors, respond more thoughtfully, and use our volunteer time wisely.

Our mission remains the same: to support individuals and families facing homelessness, housing insecurity, food insecurity, and hardship by connecting them with compassion, advocacy, and community resources.

We invite you to visit our updated landing page, explore the new request options, and share the links with anyone who may need support. Together, we can make help easier to find and hope easier to reach.
