At Milford Advocacy for the Homeless, we believe that every new start begins with opportunity — and education is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting change. We’re excited to share a new community resource on our website that connects individuals with Delaware Technical Community College’s Workforce Development and Community Education programs. These programs help people gain job-ready skills, earn certifications, and open doors to stable, meaningful employment.
Delaware Tech offers several financial assistance programs that make education more accessible for everyone. The SEED Program provides tuition coverage for eligible Delaware residents, while the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) helps those who are unemployed or underemployed access training in high-demand fields. For adults aged 60 and older, the Senior Citizen Tuition-Free Program offers free credit courses to help seniors explore new paths or stay active in the workforce.
A new start often begins with a new job — and with programs like these, financial barriers no longer have to stand in the way. Visit our new Education & Workforce Development resource page to learn more and discover how Delaware Tech can help you take the next step toward stability and success.
