Milford Advocacy for the Homeless invites our neighbors to join us for Helping Hands, a free community event designed to connect individuals and families with essential items, helpful resources, and compassionate support.

The event will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Milford Public Library, 11 SE Front Street, Milford, Delaware 19963. Everything offered during the event is completely free, including the meal that we will be serving.

Our Community will be able to browse clothing, household goods, food, and other available items. Supplies are offered while they last, and no purchase is required. Helping Hands is open to anyone in the community who could use a little extra support.

For many families, the cost of clothing, groceries, and basic household necessities can place an additional strain on an already limited budget. Helping Hands is one way MAH works to meet people where they are, treat every person with dignity and respect, and walk alongside our neighbors during difficult seasons.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this event with friends, relatives, neighbors, and community groups. Together, we can make sure more people know that support is available and that they are not alone.
