The 2025 Impact Report is now available, and we are honored to share what our community has accomplished together.

Since 2021, Milford Advocacy for the Homeless has been serving our neighbors in Milford, Dover, Rehoboth, and Georgetown with one clear purpose to help the vulnerable (housed & unhoused) in our community. We are Community Powered, with the goal of lasting Impact that Changes Lives. This report reflects more than numbers. It reflects people. It reflects dignity. It reflects what is possible when a community steps forward with compassion and service.

Our Mission in Action

Our mission remains steadfast: to serve the vulnerable in our community to overcome hardship through advocacy and community resources, walking alongside them as they rebuild stability. We meet each neighbor where they are and walk with them toward hope and sustainability.

In 2025, that mission came to life through:

  • Deep collaboration with service providers
  • Community awareness campaigns that educate and mobilize
  • Technology implementation to strengthen outreach and case coordination
  • Strengthened emergency shelter support
  • Individualized care that begins with intake, determines next steps, secures stability, and continues with ongoing support

2025 Service Impact Overview

This year’s impact demonstrates a steady and meaningful impact on our communities:

  • 22,221 total meals served through the Harvest Hub Food Security Program, including Community Dinners, lunches at Helping Hand events, emergency food through Blessing Boxes, daily dinners, and PowerPaks
  • 601 in-kind donation requests fulfilled, many containing multiple essential items per household
  • 555 neighbors served in 2025, including housed and unhoused vulnerable individuals

To see the impact over time:

  • 2023: 219 neighbors served
  • 2024: 374 neighbors served
  • 2025: 555 neighbors served

The need continues to rise, particularly among adults aged 50 and older. This growing vulnerable population requires thoughtful advocacy, coordinated services, and consistent support resulting in “wrap-around services” that walk individual’s through the complex map of hardship and obstacles on their way back to stability.

A Network of Programs and Partnerships

Through 10 core MAH programs, we provide essential services that address food insecurity, housing stabilization, emergency response, and resource navigation. These efforts are strengthened by partnerships with state agencies, civic groups, faith communities, and nonprofit organizations across the region. No single organization can solve hardship alone. Real change happens when community and collaboration intersect.

Vision for 2026

Looking ahead, our 2026 growth vision focuses on expanding coordinated outreach, strengthening stabilization pathways, enhancing data-driven impact measurement, and building sustainable program infrastructure. We are committed to increasing capacity while protecting the heart of our work: personal connection, dignity, and responsible stewardship.

The momentum is real. The need is urgent, and the opportunity to serve is greater than ever.

With Gratitude

To our volunteers, community partners, donors, and supporters: thank you. Your compassion fuels this work. Your service multiplies the impact. Your belief in our neighbors makes transformation possible.
