Thank you to the incredible volunteers who have given their time, compassion, and service throughout the past year. At our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic, we were honored to recognize their dedication with appreciation certificates and celebrate the many ways they have helped us walk alongside vulnerable neighbors in our community.
We are also grateful to Jim from atTacK Addiction for providing Narcan training and helping strengthen our volunteers’ ability to respond when someone may be experiencing an opioid overdose. In addition, our team received updated information about 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline services, giving volunteers current tools and resources they can confidently share when supporting someone in crisis.
For us, volunteer appreciation is about more than saying thank you. It is also about making sure the people serving alongside MAH feel informed, prepared, and supported. Every conversation, meal, ride, resource connection, donation sorted, and compassionate moment matters.
To every volunteer who continues to show up with dignity, kindness, and a willingness to serve, thank you for being part of this work and for helping us make a difference together.
